The parish observes Advent in numerous ways each year, including the Filipino Festival in observance of the Immaculate Conception, the parish choir's performance at the Advent concert series at Liebfrauenkirche in central Frankfurt, and a labyrinth of tea candles representing the coming Light of Christ during Gaudete, or Joyful, Sunday at Holy Cross Church.
