Lenten Observances in 2025
Stations of the Cross and Extra Confession Times
The parish's observances during the penitential season in 2025 include the following:
- Stations of the Cross in English immediately following the weekly 6 p.m. Tuesday evening Mass at St. Leonhard's (except on Tuesday, April 15)
- A multilingual Stations of the Cross by Frankfurt's foreign-language Catholic parishes starting at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 4, at Liebfrauenkirche in central Frankfurt
- Parishioners will have the opportunity for individual Confession at a Reconciliation Service starting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, at St. Leonhard's (Note: the weekly Tuesday Mass is canceled for that evening). On a regular basis year-round, Father Christian is also available at least 30 minutes before each weekend Mass at St. Leonhard's, Holy Cross and St. Mary's to provide the Sacrament of Reconciliation, with no appointment necessary.
